I never thought I would need to use this platform to ask for help... But I guess life is full of surprises :)

I'm Constantin, I’m 32 years old. Six months ago I was fortunate enough to marry the woman I love, Dana. She is 35 yrs old. Shortly after the wedding, my wife felt a lump that was diagnosed as breast cancer. In a single moment, our life turned upside-down - the great happiness and excitement instantly turned to confusion, sadness, fear and intense emotional distress.

We spent the following months running from one doctor to another, busy with appointments, examinations and a nerve-wrecking wait for the surgery and results to come. In between appointments, we also found out that my wife is pregnant. Those were the happiest news, filled with so much sadness and grief since although it was planned, the timing was not right. Unfortunately, she had to terminate the pregnancy.

During this waking nightmare of ours and our family’s and while our most intense and raw emotions were exposed, I realized even more how much I love my wife, how important she is to me and how much I’d like to make her happy.

Even before the wedding, we've dreamt of how it would be when we’d have our first born child. My wife wanted it more than anything, but this dream has gotten further away. The tumor was diagnosed to be estrogen-positive, which requires anti-hormonal treatment for 5 to 10 years and therefore, prevents her from getting pregnant. This leaves us with one option – surrogacy.

For the past 7 years, I’ve worked full time, earning an average salary, while pursuing my bachelor degree in Computer Sciences. My wife is a Speech Pathologist. Her purpose has always been to help the community as a whole and specifically children with disabilities. She has been working with infants and children with hearing, communication and language difficulties, but recently had to stop working until she finishes treatments and recover fully from surgery.

Here is where you come in. We need your help with the cost of the surrogacy process. Our health insurance covers only a fraction of the cost – 12k NIS out of the 230k required for the entire process.

We don’t have this much.

Any help is good help – please, help us make this dream come true - to be able to bring life into this world and have our first child. We are a young couple who just wants to live life to the fullest and start a family, just like any other couple.

We cannot do this without your help.

Thank you for your kindness, and wishing each and every one of you luck, health and love :)

Thank you,
Constantin and Dana
