This Jewish New Year, GS employees will again partner with Leket Israel to provide 50 families (of four), with healthy hot meals, every day for a year. Each $3,80 donated will feed a family for a day, including rescue and delivery costs.
Leket Israel rescues and re-distributes healthy food to support Israel’s most vulnerable from all backgrounds, including the working poor, the newly unemployed, housebound elderly, and children at risk.
Leket’s meal rescue project collects excess, healthy food from 300 IDF bases, hotels and industrial caterers for redistribution to 9,000 Israelis in need throughout the country. As the economic repercussions of Covid-19 are fully realized, our assistance will help sustain this project through these very challenging times.
