There are thousands of women whose lives have come to a standstill, who are
trapped in dead or abusive marriages by husbands who are unwilling or unable to grant them a get (a religious writ of divorce).
These women, called agunot, can only dream of the day they will be set free.
Yad La’isha: The Monica Dennis Goldberg Legal Aid Center & Hotline invites you to the first annual desert hike on February 15-16, 2018
to raise awareness and support for these agunot, who are unable to climb forward on their own.
