Everyone is having a harder time getting through the month.

Imagine if you have breast cancer as well. You are barely making ends meet, and now you can’t work AND you have extra expenses such as babysitting, transportation, formula, that you didn’t have before you got sick.

Help us end this difficult year with the promise of a better 2023 for those that need it most.

  • A donation of NIS 360 ($110) can help a patient in a small remote town get to the hospital for treatment.
  • A donation of NIS 1000  ($300) can help with monthly groceries for a patient who can’t work.
  • A donation of NIS 3600  ($1,100)  can help prevent foreclosure until a family gets back on its feet.

An average Grant is NIS 2100 ($650).100 Grants = NIS 210,000 ($65,000)

Two stories of November Lemonade Fund grant recipients, who found themselves in such a situation:

N., a 39 year-old divorced, single mother of two children (10, 6) had to cut back her hours as an accountant due to difficult treatment for Stage 4 breast cancer. A Lemonade Fund grant is helping her make ends meet for her and her children during this difficult time.

B., a 24 year-old single full-time student works to support herself and pay tuition. She has no financial support from her family, and has been self-sufficient since she was 18. She has had to work considerably less hours to make time for breast cancer treatments, A Lemonade Fund grant is helping her stay in school and pay rent until she is back on her feet.

Help us raise NIS 210,000 ($65,000) by year end so we will be able to fund 100 emergency grants for patients like N. and B.

300+
Lemonade Fund grants were awarded
from January - November 2022 for
transport, housing, utilities, food and basic living expenses

The Israel Lemonade Fund awards emergency grants to cover non-medical expenses, to provide a needed financial and emotional relief during the trauma and confusion of a breast cancer diagnosis and treatments. Grant applications are made via hospital and community social workers. Applications are vetted and verified using a detailed point system.

All funds raised go directly to needy breast cancer patients.
