Providing Support to Families Who Lost Their Jobs & Are Without Government Support or Safety Net
St. James Vicariate for Hebrew Speaking Catholics in Israel

St. James Vicariate for Hebrew Speaking Catholics in Israel needs your help to provide emergency assistance to migrant and asylum seeker families throughout Israel that have been hit the hardest by the current pandemic. Many of the families were surviving off of temporary jobs that have now been lost due to Corona-related shut-downs of schools and business across the country. In Israel, non-citizens are unable to access government assistance normally offered, including small loans and extended sick/vacation pay. Their small savings are starting to run out, and many of these families are no longer able to afford basic necessities.

A donation of $20 can provide for a pack of diapers, $55 baby formula for 2 weeks, or $110 can bless a family of 4 with food for a week. Please help us provide for 100 of the most needy migrant families who frequent the Vicariate's centers, and donate today!  In these difficult times, let us not revert to fear, isolation and selfish behavior, but care for each other as the Lord cares for us. May God bless you and keep you.

"In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive'" -Acts 20:35
