The African Refugee Development Center (ARDC) and KFITZAH welcomes you to join forces with us to make coding education accessible and affordable for African asylum-seekers in Israel, and help to change lives.
After an initial coding course run by Kfitzah, we have identified motivated, talented and skilled individuals who dream of attending one of Israel’s prestigious Coding Bootcamps. To complete one of these bootcamps is an invaluable opportunity; it will open the door to top-notch education, professional development and employment options, which would otherwise be unreachable.
Now more than ever, we have an opportunity to create economic mobility and a lasting change in the employment sector for asylum seekers in Israel and, at the same time, meet the needs of the Israeli market. The high tech sector is in constant need of skilled developers, currently facing a sharp shortage of some 10,000 engineers and software programmers* With full work-authorization and in-demand skills, the asylum seeker community provides a rich talent-pool!
Most asylum-seekers work in low-paying, low-skill jobs without opportunities for personal growth and with no regard to their background or skills. We aim to bridge this occupational and educational gap by providing more opportunities for asylum seekers through creating programs and partnerships.
What can you do?
Tuition costs for such courses are high, and even with assistance, it has proven difficult for asylum-seekers to participate.Your donations will go directly towards covering tuition costs for asylum seekers who are eligible for enrollment in one of Israel’s leading bootcamps.

About Us
The African Refugee Development Center (ARDC) is working towards breaking down the various barriers that prevent the integration of African asylum seekers in their respective fields of employment within Israel. ARDC’s main strategy has consisted of providing vocational courses in various fields, speaking with employers, and partnering with reputable educational institutions, businesses and international organisations.
Kfitzah is a social impact organization that bridges young tech professionals and the refugee community through coding. Our mission is to help other aspiring technical knowledge seekers make the jump into their educational next step or career move without the burdensome financial investment. Kfitzah holds hands on workshops taught by industry professionals and assists enterprises in engaging their employees by connecting them with the refugee community that are looking to grow their professional technical knowledge. At our core, we believe it’s important to integrate refugees and those seeking asylum within Israel society by empowering their economic development; both for themselves and the community.
