Merchav Neshimah Ba-Emek - Breathing Space in the Valley

A warm and nurturing space intended to meet the needs of veterans suffering

from PTSD and their families.

Our Mission

Merchav Neshimah Ba Emek was created to meet the unique challenges facing

Israeli veterans suffering from PTSD and their families.

Rationale:

Identifying adversities of veterans suffering from experiences during active battle

/terrorist attacks ,and offering support to them and their families with

the goal of merging back into society and day to day lives.

Vision:

The purpose of Merchav Neshimah Ba Emek is to provide a safe and nurturing

space for veterans with PTSD and their families –

a space for informal gatherings ,organized services and activities to match the

needs of our members.

In the house, which is located in the village of Prazon, at the foot of Mount

Gilboa, we can see an expression of our community's

commitment to this unique group.

Here, in our peripheral region communities, known as the Northern Valley of

Israel, there is not enough established government support

for veterans with PTSD
