I’m Na'ama, Batel’s older sister.
It’s not easy for me to write this.
On Saturday, March 21st, a missile hit the street where her veterinary surgery, “Animali,” was located, in our hometown, Arad.
The building was severely damaged, declared unsafe, and the surgery was completely destroyed, along with all of its equipment, medical devices, medications, and supplies.
It happened in an instant.
In one moment, she lost her livelihood — her only source of income.
Batel is a mother of three young boys — Liam, Ryan, and Kiran.
She carries an entire household on her shoulders, quietly and with strength, without ever stopping.
She has always been the kind of person who simply gives, without thinking twice.
She volunteers, opened her home to our niece who lives with them alongside her three sons, and cares deeply for animals - both her own and as a foster home for others.
That’s simply who she is.
And now, she is the one who needs help.
Since the strike, she has been trying to understand how to move forward.
How to support a home, children, and ongoing responsibilities with no income at all.
We, her siblings, are by her side and doing everything we can, but this time, it is simply too much for us to handle alone.
We opened this campaign to help Batel and her children get through the coming period, to regain some stability, and to find a way to breathe again within this new reality.
If you are able to help, even a small amount makes a real difference.
And if not, sharing this can help just as much.
Thank you ❤️
