Our beloved Avi, son, brother, cousin, friend, neighbor, and a man whom many respect and honor.
Avi was born on 14.03.1997, in the city of Ofakim, grew up and was educated there, served in the IDF in the Duvdevan unit, and later, until his departure, served as a police officer in the Israel Police, at the Rahat station.
Avi was a person of giving, assistance, and leadership, who devoted his soul to the defense of the country.
On the Simchat Torah holiday- morning of 07.10.23, Avi heard gunfire in the neighborhood where he lived in Ofakim. Without hesitation, he organized himself, took his weapon, and went out to fight against the abhorrent Hamas terrorists who had struck Ofakim in a harsh and painful way. Avi fought until his last breath, with a devoted heart and a willingness to give his soul for the country throughout his life, and ultimately, he did.
Now, we want to perpetuate his memory in a sacred way for the elevation of his soul. Our goal is that in the upcoming Simchat Torah celebration and beyond, we can bring this Torah scroll, dance, rejoice, and celebrate the Torah.
Avi gave his life for us, and we want
to give him the greatest honor in the world!
In our hearts forever, our beloved Avi.
