In the wake of the recent, heart-wrenching attack on Israel, and with the influx of people seeking refuge in the erea of the desert town Mitzpe Ramon, our farm has thrown open its gates, determined to provide support to as many souls as possible.
Under ordinary circumstances, our farm warmly welcomes visitors, hosting families and groups for retreats and eco-therapy workshops that rejuvenate the spirit.
However, from the very first day of the war, we've committed all our efforts and resources to extending a helping hand, free of charge, to anyone in need. Here's what we've been doing:
- Our 14 cabins have become sanctuaries for families fleeing the turmoil surrounding Gaza.
- We've established a therapy center, a refuge for physical and emotional healing, in collaboration with local therapists and dedicated volunteers. Every day, we offer therapy sessions and group workshops, providing solace and support throughout the day.
- The farm is open to all those who've sought shelter in Mitzpe Ramon, offering a safe, serene, and peaceful space for those staying with other hosts.
But we can't do this alone. We need your help.
Currently, the farm is solely devoted to providing support and relief, with no sources of income.
The monthly cost of operating the farm, covering essentials like food, electricity, insurance, minimal personal expenses, and other fixed costs, amounts to approximately $65,000 USD.
