Standing Together is a progressive grassroots movement organizing Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel against the occupation and for peace, equality, and social justice. Since the October 7th attacks by Hamas and the subsequent Israeli assault on Gaza, Standing Together has led the fight within Israeli society to end the war, return the hostages, and build a just Israeli-Palestinian peace and an end to the occupation. As the largest Jewish-Arab grassroots movement in Israel, Standing Together is committed to creating an alternative to the existing reality and building the political strength to make this transformation possible.
As the killing, starvation, and displacement in Gaza continues, Palestinians in the West Bank and East Jerusalem face escalating violence – from armed settlers, police, and the Israeli military. In response to this intolerable situation, Standing Together formed the Humanitarian Guard, a protective presence initiative that has protected hundreds of aid convoys for Gaza from settler destruction and looting, and works to protect Palestinians from military and settler attacks in Jerusalem and the West Bank.
In addition to the protective presence work of the Humanitarian Guard, Standing Together has launched a number of critical humanitarian campaigns. In 2024, Standing Together sent hundreds of food and clothing trucks into Gaza in 2024, collecting aid from Palestinian villages across Israel.
During the recent Iran war in June of 2025, Standing Together launched a vital campaign to purchase 20 bomb shelters for Bedouin-Palestinian villages in the Naqab/Negev, where years of government neglect and racism have left these communities without basic protection.
These humanitarian activities are essential for preventing more violence, strengthening Jewish-Palestinian partnership, and building an alternative political reality of peace. All proceeds from this campaign will go towards a Humanitarian Fund that will support Standing Together’s future humanitarian and protective presence efforts. Thank you so much for your support.
