October 7, 2023 changed the lives of Jews around the world, but none more so that the people of Israel. Kibbutz members murdered, kidnapped, evacuated. Young people dancing at raves never to return, leaving behind devastated families. Parents of young soldiers, every day for the past year, answering a knock at the door that could only mean the worst. 

But the past year has also seen the people of Israel uniting as never before - working together to support soldiers sent into battle, families evacuated from their homes, and parents, children, brothers and sisters fighting to bring our hostages home.

It will take time to heal from the disaster. But little by little, day by day, Israel is coming back.
