Hi there, and thank you for your interest in the Nesherke Project  :)

Ram grew up and was educated at kibbutz Neve Ur, Valley of springs. He loved nature and animals.

The nickname 'Nesher' (eagle) stuck with him since childhood, stemming from a popular Israeli comedy skit. 'Hop, hop, Nesherke.' Some people only know him as Nesher and don't know his real name is Ram.

He loved traveling in the valley and throughout the country, exploring less-known places, discovering hidden springs, and setting up camps near different water sources.

Always talented and creative, he was crafty when it came to making beautiful things from repurposed and recycled materials.

He loved finding old items in remote places and turning them into treasures, like workshop benches from discarded wheels, wooden chairs, swings, and more.

From piles of planks, he would build unique tables, a washing machine as a drum, and would turn cheese graters and mouse traps into lamps

Ram loved diverse music styles and eras, often whistling while listening to music and also working and creating with music in the background. He really enjoyed drinking beer, exploring its different types and flavors.

In recent years, he became exposed to whiskey and started learning about it—its tastes, different types, production methods, and more.

In the last decade, he entered the events production industry in the country, dividing his time between the event season and creating in his own workshop in the kibbutz.

During Sukkot of 2023, he took part in producing the Nova party near Kibbutz Ra'im.

He came to set up the event on Wednesday and was later murdered at the age of 32 on the Black Saturday, 07.10.23, by Hamas terrorists alongside 368 other production workers, security personnel, entertainers, and other festival goers who just wanted to dance and celebrate life.

Ram loved good whiskey, cold beer, tasty food. And us.

Cheers to Ram and the beautiful life he led!
