2018 is nearing its end together with this year's successes and challenges, while 2019 is just around the corner, setting new standards of difficulties and hurdles we must overcome - with your help.

The Israeli Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Ramat Gan and Vicinity is a no-kill animal rescue. This guiding principle is what makes our organization unique in Israel.

Thanks to your support in 2018:

• Nearly 200 animals were adopted from the shelter.

• We have found foster homes for the rehabilitation and treatment of dozens of dogs and cats.

• We have developed and implemented a professional rehabilitation training program to find a home for dozens of "reactive" dogs.

• We invested over 100,000 NIS  in animal welfare, equipment, veterinary treatments, vaccinations, spaying & neutering.

• We provided a subsidized treatment and vaccinations package for dozens of dogs and cats in our vicinity.

We strive to educate the next generation of animal lovers, with a broad community involvement, focusing on values of animal welfare, tolerance, compassion, and social responsibility, while also promoting values of compassion, tolerance and help for the less fortunate, through education and information activities, together with programs that support and empower people with special needs.

• Over 1,200 children and youth participated in our educational activities in schools and youth movements.

• Over 120 people with special needs and youth at risk participated in our flagship program "Someone to Live By" and experienced the warm bond with animals.

Your contribution is vital and will enable us to continue to help animals and carry out all our essential activities! Each year is more difficult than the last, expenses are increasing and challenges of maintaining our shelter and educational frameworks are enormous.
