Latet is a pioneer and global leader in food rescue on a large, national scale. For that reason, every dollar donated to Latet delivers two dollars in food value to the needy families who receive their aid .

Latet is doing a more than giving out food. They are also developing innovative solutions to the social challenges of poverty and nutritional insecurity, solutions that can benefit not only Israel, but also many other countries. When we help offset the costs of Latet's food distribution, more funds are available for creating sustainable responses to the underlying causes of poverty.

This is an opportunity for us all to join together, in any small or large way that we can, to see that our brothers and sisters in the Israeli city of Netanya are nourished by food and by the visions of their youth. Our donations will support both Latet’s Nutritional Security program and Latet Youth in Netanya.

The cost of a Latet monthly food box is $36. Each box contains carefully chosen, nutritious items whose market value is about $70. TBT will fund boxes during the coming year for as many Netanya families as we can. 

We will also contribute to the Latet Youth costs for the Netanya group we are working with. You can meet them here. Funding covers Latet T-shirts and tote bags for the kids, training materials, a small budget for their social initiatives, and transportation to the national conferences. Our TBT kids will be in touch with them, and we’ll keep you informed of what’s happening through the year.
