What is Wheels of Love all about?  Helping kids with physical disabilities achieve their dream to be just like every other kid, living a healthier, happier, and productive life.

See the photo above.  I took it during the Alyn 2022 ride. On the right side of the yellow line are riders assisting Mati get up the hill, and on the left side Guy Niv, Israel's first Tour de France competitor, is helping someone too. 

Jerusalem’s Alyn Pediatric Hospital provides extraordinary hospital and rehabilitation services for children by providing them with the means and support to overcome their physical challenges. Alyn is now a world leader in many innovative rehabilitation programs.

I encourage you to tour the hospital. See the children with their parents, the health providers, and the support staff, many from different backgrounds working together to provide the best treatment for every child. You will notice and feel the warmth and love each child receives. 

I have participated in the Alyn Wheels of Love bike rides for 20 years.  I also volunteer and ride weekly with many of the Alyn kids of “The Swift and the Bold” provided by the Etgarim program. I view with my own eyes (and camera lens) the determination of these kids and the joy of their achievements.  For me, riding for and also with these kids is a tremendous source of “chizuk” (strength), encouraging me to remain in good physical shape, and also for the emotional uplift these kids constantly give me.
