I have given life six times – first, when I gave birth to my children and created with my husband our happy and healthy family. Two years ago I was privileged to give life twice more – as part of a paired kidney donation. Running was a significant part of my decision to donate and a part of my recovery from surgery. The previous Jerusalem Marathon took place two months before my kidney donation. I decided to run again this year in the Jerusalem Marathon, this time as part of the “Matnat Chaim” team, the organization that has set its sights on eliminating the waiting list for kidney donation in Israel. I am an active part of this wonderful organization and I invite you to become our partner by supporting my run in the marathon. Your donation will help us find additional kidney donors who will save lives!

The Israeli non-profit "Matnat Chaim" recruits and supports healthy volunteers who donate kidneys to patients who need transplants. Over 1200 patients have received new kidneys and new lives thanks to a transplant facilitated by "Matnat Chaim" and our vision is to eliminate the waiting list for kidney transplants in Israel.
