"Nehenim B’noam" (The Noam Network) is a non-profit organization that runs empowering after school programs for children from the social periphery, staffed by young volunteers.
Skills-based after-school activities for kids from the social periphery help them develop the skills and confidence to break cycles of disadvantage.
Founded by high-school aged activists in Bet Shemesh (in memory of a young friend, Noam Ivgi) in 2019 and run in its pilot year on volunteer power and community center cooperation, The Noam Network is now looking to grow in scope and in mission.
In addition to providing an enriching framework for the children of Bet Shemesh, we aim to train a skilled staff of young volunteers, providing a meaningful and enriching growth experience for these committed young leaders. We hope to build bridges between generations, and between different segments of our city's diverse society.
Will you help us grow?
