Too often we get new messages of people being killed in a terror attack.  For a second the world stops and we think about the unfairness of it all, about how this happened, or if it will ever stop. For most of us it stops at that point. We take a few seconds out of life but then continue on with it. We don’t think about it too much, because although the news is so tragic it just seems too far away for us.  Unfortunately it isn’t too far away for everyone. Every single person that was killed in a terror attack has a family that has been left behind. A family that isn’t complete anymore because someone was taken from them.  How do you even move on from that point you think? It seems impossible. Koby Mandell was only 13 years old when he was taken away from his family, killed in a terror attack near his home together with his friend Yosef Ishran.  After realizing how little support there was for families who have lost somone in a terror attack they founded this organization in his name.  The organization helps bereaved mothers, fathers, widows, orphans and siblings to rebuild their lives and create meaning out of suffering.  I’m running for this cause in the Jerusalem marathon and am trying to get as many donations as possible to help raise money for this incredible cause.  Please consider giving something to those who have lost everything. Your donation is fully tax-deductible in Israel, the US, Canada, the UK, the EU and Australia.
